Facial moisturizer is one of the most important steps in our daily facial care and maintaining the health of our skin. Every day, our facial skin is exposed to external factors, and as a result, it needs extra support to keep it healthy. It is necessary to apply it daily, morning and evening, in order to keep the skin hydrated, elastic and healthy.

What will a moisturizing face cream offer me?

Moisture & nourishment of the skin
The skin needs constant hydration to maintain its healthy appearance and function. The active ingredients in moisturizing creams provide hydration and nourishment, preventing dryness.

Protection from External Factors
Moisturizers create a barrier that protects the skin from harmful factors such as UV rays, pollutants and weather conditions.

Preserving Elasticity
Moisturizers help maintaining skin elasticity, reducing the risk of the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It provides radiance and a healthy-looking complexion.

Anti-aging
Some moisturizers contain antioxidants that help to effectively combat free radicals and thus reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, while promoting the natural renewal of skin cells.

Which moisturizer should I choose?

By choosing the right facial moisturizer for your skin type, you can provide effective care that meets your needs. Applying a facial moisturizer adds a pleasant step to your daily skincare routine, encouraging you to take care of yourself.

Very dry/dry skin
It's obvious that your skin needs deep hydration and nourishment. Try products based on hyaluronic acid, which is an excellent moisturizing agent, Vitamin E, Argan oil, or Rosehip extract.
Extra tip: For extra nourishment and extra moisture.

Normal skin
If you're not experiencing dryness or oiliness, choose a moisturizer that doesn't need to be rich in texture. Pay attention to moisturizers, based on hyaluronic acid and/or natural antioxidants, such as vitamin C from kiwi, sweet orange or guava extract. Don't forget that antioxidants are essential to protect your skin from free fradical damage.
Extra tip: If you have combination skin type, don't neglect to apply your moisturizer, as it can easily become dehydrated and dry due to insufficient hydration.

Oily Skin or Skin with Acne
In case you are experiencing oily skin, don't get into the process of using too "aggressive" products that promise to regulate the oiliness, because the skin tends to return to normal. Trust innovative ingredients, such as niacinamide (which belongs to vitamin B3 family) and zinc, which will not only provide a smooth result, without irritating and dehydrating the skin, but will also reduce the appearance of pores, which is a typical sign of oily skin.

To sum up, facial moisturizer is an essential tool for maintaining health and elasticity of our skin. By applying it daily and consistently, you can benefit from its active ingredients, giving your skin the care it deserves. Holland & Barrett uses natural ingredients, which offer the skin the best possible and natural result.
